Hong Kong based airline Cathay Pacific has just officially announced that Dragonair will be rebranded to Cathay Dragon. All of Dragonair’s aircraft will receive new liveries reminiscent of that of Cathay’s new livery, but in red.

Cathay believes this will help widen their already extensive network of air travel. Dragonair has operated under the control of Cathay, flying mostly regional routes into China and nearby countries for Cathay.

What are your thoughts on this rebranding?

Cathay’s flight attendants wear red. Do Dragon’s flight attendants wear green?

I’m fully in support of the name. And the new livery is awesome.
